Glenlake Tennis Center and Glenlake Park have re-opened to the public. The tennis center and the park have undergone complete renovations. Experience our new premier courts and energy efficient lights by coming out to Friday evening adult drills. 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. $10 residents and $15 non-residents.

Weekends 9 a.m - 6 p.m.
Fees
Resident* $2.00 before 6 p.m. $2.50 after 6 p.m.
Non-Resident $3.00 before 6 p.m. $3.50 after 6 p.m.
Courts at Oakhurst and Scott Park will be free to residents before 6 p.m. on weekdays. Residents will need to come to Glenlake Tennis Center and register in order to be able to take advantage of the free court time.

The instructors use backdoor learning techniques and games to begin to teach the children proper stroke form and footwork while keeping the major focus of the class about fun.

The focus of the camp revolves around teaching juniors proper stroke technique, movement, and the basics of singles and doubles play.

This is our most popular tennis camp. Each day there are 90 minutes of tennis instruction, followed by a snack and the campers spend the rest of the time swimming at Glenlake Pool. The camp concludes with a cookout on Friday and our world famous game “Hit it and Get it."

The Tournament Camp is for juniors looking to play serious competitive tennis and during each session the focus will be advanced stroke training, movement, physical fitness, and match strategy.
Juniors 
Munchkin Tennis (4-6 yrs.) - Munchkin tennis is offered every Monday afternoon from 4-5 p.m. The cost is $5 per class and classes are offered all year long. The instructors use backdoor learning techniques and games to teach the children proper stroke form and footwork while keeping the major focus of the class about fun.
Beginning Tennis (7-15 yrs.) - Every Friday evening from 5-6 p.m. throughout the year Glenlake Tennis Center offers lessons to any child looking to get out on the tennis court. The cost of each session is $5 and the focus of each hour revolves around proper stroke development and movement. Each session is usually concluded with a game of "Jail" that is sure to have your kids coming back for more.
Tournament Academy (6-18 yrs) - Resident Head Pro Jabari Cole runs a junior tennis academy at Glenlake on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoons from 4-6 p.m. The academy is for juniors looking to play serious competitive tennis and during each session the focus will be advanced stroke training, movement, physical fitness, and match strategy. The academy is home to ranked juniors and is frequented by Breon Badger, the Number 1 18-year-old junior in the southeast. The cost of each session is $20 and admission to the academy is by invitation only. Contact Jabari Cole at Glenlake Tennis Center for further information.
Adults
Adult Beginner Tennis Clinic - Glenlake Tennis Center offers six week adult beginner tennis clinics. The clinic will last for 6 weeks. Whether you have never picked up a racket before, or you are a seasoned veteran looking to make your strokes better, this course is the best value in Metro Atlanta. The course covers forehands, backhands, proper tennis movement, serves, overheads, and the basics of singles and doubles play. The cost for the six week course is $75 if you are a City of Decatur resident and $90 for all others. Contact Glenlake Tennis Center at 404-377-7231 to reserve your spot.
Adult Drills - Glenlake Tennis Center offers adult drills Friday evenings from 6:30 p.m - 8:00 p.m., and Sunday mornings from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. The drills are designed so that players of all skill levels are sure to hit lots of balls, have lots of fun, and get a wonderful workout. Each drill session ends with a game of the "Wave" and even if you don't like any of the other activities, this one will surely have you coming back for more. The cost of each drill session is $10 for residents and $15 for non-residents. You can drop-in at anytime.
Team Tennis
Glenlake Tennis Center is home to a large number of ALTA and USTA teams. If you are looking to join a tennis team call us at the tennis center with your name, phone number, and current skill level and when captains need players we will give them your name.
