Decatur Rec offers leagues for children ages 7-8, 9-10, 11-12 and 13-14. Each player receives a jersey, shorts and end-of-the-season award. Practices will be be held at local schools and fields, beginning the week of February 11. Games will begin March 1 for all ages. The age control date for lacrosse is January 1, 2008.
Registration will begin Janaury 5 and remain open until the end of February or until spaces are filled.
Players should provide thier own equipment. Rental equipment is available at Decatur Center for $60 plus a security deposit of $150.

Monday-Thursday – 9 a.m.-8 p.m.
Friday – 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
Saturday – 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Registration cost is $100 for Decatur residents/$130 for non-residents. Players should provide their own equipment (rental equipment is available at Decatur Rec).

The 7-8 Boy's team will practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Renfroe Middle School from 5:30-6:30pm. The coach for the 7-8 division is Doug Teague. Practice will begin Tuesday, February 19th.
The 9-10 Boy's teams will practice on Mondays and Wednesdays at Renfroe Middle School from 5:30-6:30pm. The coach for the 9-10 boys team is Jonathan Hull. This age group is in need of one more coach.
The 11-12 Boy's Decatur 2 and 3 teams will practice on Mondays and Fridays at Winnona Park School from 5:30-6:30pm. The 11-12 Boys Decatur 1 team will practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30-6:30pm at Winnona Park School. Players will receive their team assignments after the first week of practice. Decatur 1 coaches are Don Rigger and David Florence. Decatur 2 coach is Coach Michael Dugan. Decatur 3 coach is Mark Rigatti.
The 13-14 Boy's team will practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Winnona Park School from 5:00-6:30pm. The coach for the 13-14 boys team is John Clark.
The 9-10 Girls team will practice on Tuesday adn Thursdays at Ebster Field from 5:00-6:30pm. The 9-10 girls coach is Erica Anderson. The 11-12 and 13-14 Girls teams will practice on Firdays from 5:00-6:30pm at Renfroe Middle School and Sundays from 2:30-4:00pm at Renfroe Middle School. The coach for the 11-12 and 13-14 Girls teams is Bill Stanyard. This division is in need of one more coach.

Lacrosse Clinic: First time players and experinced players will have the opportunity to learn lacrosse skills through instructional programs. Partiticipants will learn stick work, drills and the rules of the game. This clinic will be held on Sundays from 3:00-4:30pm on Ebster Field beginning in October of 2008. Players must provide thier own equipment.
