Tree Preservation and Replacement

The City's tree preservation and replacement ordinance is intended to encourage the protection and/or replacement of trees as part of the land development and building construction process within the City of Decatur.

The City Commission will consider adopting the new tree ordinance on Monday, May 19, 2008 at their regular meeting at 7:30 p.m. at City Hall. A public information session will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall to present the proposed changes to the existing tree ordinance.
